Meet Your Instructors

Rosie Kowalski

Rosie Kowalski, RYT-500, is a school counselor who started yoga as a way to heal physically after years of sports. Then after one New Moon class was hooked on all that yoga and community connection has to offer. Rosie is passionate about educating others on the importance of honoring all 8 Limbs of Yoga throughout your practice on and off the mat. Yoga is for all walks of life, and through connecting with the Self, we can bring a little more light to our days. Rosie aspires to lead inclusive, engaging practices that range from vinyasa to yin to restorative to meditation.

When practicing yoga off of her mat, you can find Rosie and her husband chasing after their 2 boys at the park, nature trail, bookstore, or somewhere by the water!

Amanda Gatchet

Amanda Gatchet, RYT-200, is a Professor of Communication Studies who originally set out to study yoga as a way to help students in her public speaking courses overcome speech anxiety. What she found was a calling to hold space for others as they deepen their yoga practice. Amanda’s training is in classical and tantric yoga philosophy. She leads vinyasa-style and restorative practices. It is her goal as a yoga instructor to provide an inclusive, safe, and fun experience for practitioners of all abilities.

When she’s not in the studio or in a classroom, Amanda can be found spending time with her husband and son or tending to one of many beehives she keeps in her backyard.
